The relaxed and sociable atmosphere in the restaurant allows our chef to create dishes of flair and imagination; for which we have been awarded our first AA rosette. You will find that The Gatehouse Hotel caters to an array of palates and purses.
At lunchtime we offer a bistro-style menu where our home-made dishes are accompanied by delicious, freshly-baked bread. Simple light snacks or heartier lunch options will satisfy the most demanding tastebuds.
In the evenings, the creativity of our chef and the finest local produce combine to offer you a sumptuous menu of enticing seasonal dishes and daily specials. We take great pride in our menus maintaining a level of sophistication to match any great eatery. Our wines are also carefully selected and our mission is to seek out exciting, yet affordable wines to compliment our food.
